i need an economical printer for home use - preferably Laser. can u help me to choose One?

The best printer on a cost-per-page basis is HP. You will get more prints out of their cartridge than other makes in general. The printer is also inexpensive, reliable and easy to operate as well as cheap to operate.

You can refill them but generally, you get less prints and it is never as great as the original cartrdige unless you are just using it for text documents.

Refilling your own toner is messy dirty work. I worked in a shop where every other weekend the techs had to do refill duty. We had to wear face-masks and work under an evacuation hood system so we wouldn't breath in toner particles. The newer toners aren't as bad for you, but they aren't good for you either. Toner particles are sub-micron in size so even a hepa filter doesn't get them all. Buy re-manufactured toners if you must, but don't refill them yourself, its not worth your health!
