I want my girlfriend to understand what I'm thinking so I think  a song will help her understand. I love her very much, I'm always thinking about her and I don't ever want to let her go. But it hurts to know that she doesn't feel the same as I do and she doesn't want the things I want. I know we will never have the relationship I always dreamt of because of our history but I want us to try anyways. I want her for myself and only her and I want her to want me and only me but I know she doesn't. Any songs haha?

haha, that's actually crazy, because like i had the same thing going on with my girlfriend.  this may not help for you, but this is what worked for me to show her, there are two songs to choose from, and both of them by staind

Well I don't know much about your history soo I'll just give you some basics. 
A LOT of songs are about what your going through. When I read it, I thought of:
1. Waiting For Yesturday- David Archuletta
2. Crush- David Archuletta

And also there's just the basic love songs you could use. "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" is always a good one.
