When the Bible asks "Love God with all your heart, mind and soul"?

Great question. The heart is the seat of emotions, so you need to love God passionately in a spiritual way. The mind is the seat of the intellect, so you need to love God knowing why you do so as well as consciously choose to make God the object and center of your thoughts, and loving God with all your soul literally means loving God with all your being, with all that you are. Soul is another word for body. What this verse means in total is loving God with all that you have and all that you are with no exclusions or exceptions. It's total dedication.

in Matthew 1:23 Jesus is God with us, John 8:58 Jesus is The I AM. same wording as in Exodus 3 Moses and the burning bush, Jesus is God and He came as it is written in Isaiah 53 and took on human flesh, He gave His life. With all our being grab onto the Life and Love that God has given us. All the heart means with full attention on The Lord, The Mind is where ideas form but no idea put there by us or the devil [Oh in case you didn't know when the devil temps you he uses "your voice"] is to take our attention off The Lord and the Soul means the whole being, to me there is no difference the idea however is to love Him with it all.

Well I don't know about heart. I always heard "mind, body, and spirit."

The way I see it: The body is the temporal, physical thing that pretty much only means anything in this current life. This is consistent whether you believe in heaven after death, rebirth, or whatever that involves anything spiritual at all.

The spirit is the eternal part of every living thing. It moves on when you die and makes you who you are. It is the part that goes to heaven, hell, is reborn, goes to Abraham's bosom, goes to the next dimension, or anything else the spiritual person believes.

The mind is the mix between the body and spirit; the consciousness. It is similar from life to life (when dealing with rebirth) and makes you similar in each life you live. It makes you who you are pretty much. Kind of hard to explain as every person believes something different, and anyone who claims to fully understand even their own beliefs is a liar or brainwashed sheep.

The spirit speaks to the heart... the path of righteoness.

The enemy tries to trick your mind; but you have to overlook him and have that mind set to have faith and trust in God.

The soul is for you to feel that power and the goodness. staying with God.

It means love god completely.

Your Heart =GOD

Your Ming=JESUS Your Soul=SPIRIT ALL =ONE ;ONE GOD

With your flesh as a sinner and your Spirit which saves you.
