How to remove Write-protection on my microSD memory card?

Question

I have attached my phone's MicroSD card in my laptop's in-built multi card slot. Now, i can see all the data on it and i can even copy this data to computer but i can't delete any of it or add anything new. Whenever i try it says the device is write-protected, remove the write-protection and try again...
Anyone know how to remove this write-protection?? Explain please?
This happens with every microSD card and i don't have any password set for this microSD still it's protected...

okay what is wrong with that is that your phone has write protected it and the only way to by pass that is buy a usb cable that goes from your computer to the phone... or if you have a SD card slot you can buy an adapter that holds a Micro SD card then what this girl before me said will come into play in which on the adapter there is a unlock switch and that has to be pushed a certain way to unlock the write protection on it
