in pro base ball why do they use the wooden bat only?? and they keep breaking and flying out at other players?

Metal bats have a much higher coefficient of restitution than wood bats. This means that when they compress at the point of contact, they rebound back to their original shape and return a lot of energy to the ball as they do. Add into the equation the fact that they're lighter, and you've got a recipe for disaster.

Take the bat speed of an average major leaguer, give him a lighter bat, and take into account that the ball will be coming off the bat significantly faster than with wood. We already see pitchers not have time to react to line drives, they wouldn't have a chance. Neither would corner infielders. It's a safety issue as much as it's a tradition thing.

Wooden bats do break and cause some concern with players getting stabbed like Cubs Tyler Colvin last year got stabbed in the chest and collapsing a lung. In the MLB balls get hit hard and players and fans have gotten very hurt from liners and a minor league 1st base coach was killed after getting hit in the head by a ball. Players get hit in many places with hard hit balls off the bat every day and if you throw a metal bat in a player like Prince Fielders hands he will hit the ball so hard injuries would be much more painful then they are now. And also home run records would be shattered. What we need is a Composite bat that hits like a wood bat with out breaking

Metal bats would cause people to be killed In the stands as even guys like Elvis andrus could hit 25 homers a season. And Jose Bautista, he could hit 90 easily.

If they used a metal bat, it would be much easier to score home runs as the ball goes farther.

Foul balls would come off the bat twice as fast and could cause damage to the fans....as well as fields would have to be much bigger also.
