Is this a good workout routine for a beginner?
I am a 15 almost 16 year old who wights 180 pounds. i am trying to loose weight and i came up with every morning i go for about a hour run with my dog. then in the after noon do some easier stuff, like crunches, yard work, do some chores, lunges,etc... Then after dinner go for a walk for about two hours or a hour run.. does this sound good? If anyone has a better idea of how for me to loose weight and get into shape again i would really appreciate any suggestion anyone can give me.

20 push ups, jumping jacks, sit ups 3 times day, walk or run twice a day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and other cardio, activities. then on Tuesday and Thursday do strength training works outs. start out small then build up also watch your calories. they can get you.

It sounds like you have a great routine going! keep it up and you'll be at your goal in no time! remember though it may seem like your not losing much weight but you could be gaining muscle :)
