why are viet vets treated like dirt while desert storm vets get all the benefits?
seems we get the shaft while all returning soldiers have all the benefits which the viet-nam vets lacked.

Simple, it's a different mood of the country. The country didn't support the war you fought, while they did support Desert Storm. Doesn't make it right by any stretch of the imagination though.

Because people are jerks. They do not see every soldier as equal. They served our country just as much as the others and people need to acknowledge that. They need to not look at the politics, but look at the service that they did for this country. People are just idiots
