Can you please tell me why Shakespeare introduces the death of count Paris in Romeo and Juliet and why some movie and play production cut the scene.

Why introduced? Maybe he wanted to increase the tragic effect by piling up one more body. Or maybe the death was Shakespeare's judgment on arranged marriages as opposed to love matches. Or maybe it was his judgment on the arrogance of the nobility. Or maybe he wanted to emphasize Romeo's impetuous nature, and that it might not have worked out for Juliet even if she could have married him (one more example of impossible love). The thing is, the 'why' is open to speculation, since we can't ask the playwright. You can make up your own reason.
Why omitted? To cut the long length of the play for modern audiences? Because it is just a subplot that complicates the basic love story? To make Romeo more sympathetic? A shortage of good actors?
