for a liberal policy but not for a conservative one where the liberals think granny will die, but she'll have the same benefits with more security than ever?

One of Time Magazine's front covers was "The Case for Killing Granny" and it was a supporting piece on rationing health care for old people.

Some think any one over 75 should have a review every 5 years to see if they are contributing enough to society to justify their continued existence.

A natural offshoot of system that has 2 parties that negotiate whether or not something will be done knowing that a third party will pay. The 2 parties negotiating want to do everything and 1 does not even care if it has no chance of working - the doctor.
