Paraphrasing Acts 10:15 KJV "What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common."

That says it all, don't you think?

These has to do with both a release from the restrictions of the Jewish food rules which had said which animals could and could not be used as food. But also it is to do with the fact that the gospel was being opened up to the Gentiles (non-Jews). They, the non Jews, were not allowed in the Temple in Jerusalem and were considered unclean in Jewish terms. This was all to alter for the Jews had rejected Jesus as their Messiah so now Gentiles were to be preached to and the Gospel spread to all.

The Apostle Peter had to learn this lesson for Cornelius was a prayerful man of the Italian band and believed what he had heard about the sacrifice of Jesus. So Peter took others with him and went to Cornelius, preached Jesus and the Gospel to him and baptised both him and those gathered with him who believed.

Peter had a vision....read on....a voice told him to get up kill & eat.

Ac 10:14 “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”15 The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” 16 This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.

read on.......after that vision ......men came looking for him....Ac 10:28 He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him. But God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean.

it covers the invitation open to all people, not just Jews, to become Go's people. "34 At this Peter opened his mouth and said: “For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, 35 but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him. "

"44 While Peter was yet speaking about these matters the holy spirit fell upon all those hearing the word. 45 And the faithful ones that had come with Peter who were of those circumcised were amazed, because the free gift of the holy spirit was being poured out also upon people of the nations. " This shows God's approval of the actions taken.

Yes, I don't see what the big deal is. The message is that God does not show favoritism, and Gentiles can become Christians just like Jews, and the Gentiles do not have to convert to Judaism or obey the mosaic laws concerning circumcision and diet.

i have read acts 10, and I KNOW there is not a single message.

the story of Peters Translation no not his translation HIS "trance" and vision include the salvation of man, which Jesus at the end says he has made all men "clean" but that does not include the vision of john which says all men must go through the 2nd death and lake of fire.

where only those that have their names written in the Lambs book of life are saved and unharmed.

remember not every single verse is the ultimate definition of truth.

Peter didn't see animals being lowered down....

He was preaching on the roof top and fasting. He fell into a trance and saw the kingdom of God (Heaven) and God said to Peter to rise up, kill and eat, however, Peter said, I do not eat that which is unclean or uncommon and God said to Peter that which I have made clean is not uncommon or in other words profane.

The animals or beasts were spirits in heaven. Peter couldn't fully describe what they were so he said they were "like" animals.

    God Bless

It was in actual fact there, where God started His out reach unto the pagan nations, because His people rejected His out reach to them. Listen to what Jesus said:

Mat 21:42 Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: 'The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes'? "Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. "And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder." Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them.

I know what it means, and it doesn't pertain to clean or unclean food, or the food laws being changed. It has to do with both jews and gentiles being in harmony in truth with one another. To not consider one another "unclean" if God has cleansed a person (saved him), regardless of your differences. Who God has cleansed, whether he differ from you, do not treat him any different, because you serve the same God and are apart of the same grace.

    Yes I remember reading that.
