I'm thinking about getting free sat. What direction does the dish need to face? Is it south east?

If you are changing from Sky or have a sky dish and sockets you can use this as the satellites are almost aligned, if not Argos have a good deal on installing for under £100. Be careful, research what box you get as many aren't that good. look at web sites to read customer ratings first. IE Electrical retailers like Comet. Currys.etc.

It depends where in the Country you are, that is probably the general direction but it will need to be tuned for best reception.
