world heritage sites of Ancient cities of Anuradhapuraya and polonnnaruwa (cultural trianguler  historical site specialy 5th century A.D Sigiriya Sky fortress )

world heritage city of Kandy ; hill  capital of last  Sinhalese kingdom and place where temple of tooth located.

Nuwaraeliya : scenic beauty

world heritage city of Gale where old Dutch fortress located

If you are natural lover : world natural heritage sites (Horton plain , Nuckels , Sinharage rain forest , etc..)

There are many national parks too . Yala and Vilpaththu are good for  leopards and birds watching, Wasgamuwa good for elephants ,etc...

If you love surfing, its good to go in Arugam Bay during August. I really love the windy beaches during august, the ocean breeze is really relaxing.
