That's Rey Mysterio! The WWE's Rey Mysterio! Seeing him do things like that makes me wonder why he doesn't do it anymore, and I can only think of two logical explanations: His body won't let him anymore or, much like many wrestlers, Corporate WWE told him to stop using such moves as they are too dangerous and carry too much of an injury risk. All I want to know is what do you think. Was it Corporate WWE or is it just Rey's body?

No, I assure you that the wrestler in the video is current WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio during his time in Mexican wrestling promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración. He might look taller because he's not in the ring with gigantic 6-foot-plus-inches tall gargantuans like we're used to seeing in the WWE; instead, he's in there with other Luchadores of his size. Also, look at his mask; it's the same mask design he uses today. I assure you, it's Óscar "Rey Mysterio, Jr." Gutiérrez in the video.

it was mostly his body he has been wrestling since 14 years old and has dedicated his life to wrestling he has had 5 surgeries on his knee 3 on his bicep and a couple of others more not to mention a whole bunch of rehab he has never cared about the risk or danger involved in his moves he just wants to entertain his fans he gives everything he has in the ring and i don't think people appreciate enough everything he has done

the two are the comparable guy, He took his uncles wrestling call and the jr grew to become into out of admire for him. Rey Mysterio Sr. has given him permission to drop the jr from the call that's a extensive honour and mark of admire for Rey who exceeded his uncle.

WWE does not want anybody to overshadow its main eventers + Rey Mysterio Jr.'s knees are in bad shape + outside of maybe Kaval, Bryan Daniel, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne......who can keep up with him?

I think it's mostly Rey's body. He is pushing forty now, he's had knee surgeries and I don't know if you noticed but Rey is much thinner and lighter in the video you posted than he is today.

ANYONE WHO'S ANYONE THAT KNOWS ANYTHING KNOWS THAT REY MYSTERIO HAS HAD SEVERAL KNEE INJURIES OVER THE YEARS WHICH PREVENTS HIM FROM DOING A LOT OF THE STUFF HE DID 5-10 YEARS AGO

Probably because his body won't allow him to. He has had alot of surgery on his knee. Corporate aren't telling him to stop because he still used the 619 that broke Cody Rhodes nose.

That was when he was a lot younger. He is 36 years old now. He would have been between 16 and 23 years old then.

To me, he looks a bit taller than Rey. I mean, it's just his ring name, so there could be other Rey's out there with a similar name. Also, it would be easier to varify because of his tattoos. Oh well... interesting video you have, though.
