Christianity appropriated a lot of ideas from older religions.

Jesus' entire life story is lifted from the cult of Mithras. The virgin birth also bears a resemblance to Perseus from Greek mythology. His death and resurrection is similar to Dionysus, another figure from Greek mythology. Dionysus is interestingly also associated with wine and bread, like Jesus. There are plenty of other death-resurrection myths, which tend to be associated with sun gods, as the sun is seen to die at the end of each day before being reborn the next day.

Easter is held the weekend after the first full moon after the (Northern hemisphere) spring equinox. A full moon? The equinox? It couldn't be more obviously pagan, could it?

In the early days of Christianity, the church was trying to convert as many people as possible, and this appropriation of ideas from other religions helped them.

The holy trinity is just another example of that. Triple deities were very commonplace - the number three and triangles were considered very powerful and mystical. The early Christian church decided it wanted to be able to tell its new converts that it too could offer them a triple deity... hence the Holy Ghost (aka Holy Spirit). An afterthought.

The Holy Ghost (or Holy Spirit) is a part of The Trinity, made up of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The Trinity is three parts of one God. It's kind of confusing, but that's the best way I can explain it. The Holy Spirit is usually seen as a dove or fire. I assume by "mother" you mean the Virgin Mary? We don't worship her, we just have high respect for her.

God is viewed as a three part whole. He is one, but with 3 aspects, or personalities with separate responsibilities. The holy ghost is responsible for conviction. No, this belief does not mean that Christians are pagans. They are monotheistic. Anyhow, there are monotheistic pagans, so monotheism has nothing to do with whether you are a pagan or not.

the daddy, the son, and the holy spirit are 3 elements to an same God. Like in case you had an egg (like I said in a diverse question), it has a yoke, white, and shell, and is one egg and not in any respect 3...So all Christians in reality worship both because they are an same God :)
