does GOD give mankind he created for his pleasure and his good will Fredom to choose to follow him--?

or is he a dictator that wants to force the universe to exalt him or they all be thrown in hell ? CAN U ADD SCRIPTURE VERSES TO SEAL your point of veiw?

Update:

no Chris I am sorry here I BELIEVE MISSY EBBY IS CORRECT IN THE INTERPETATION FOUND IN PETER God does show mercy to even those that refuse his love ,, I see scripture saying that the potter takes loving measure in forming the clay sometimes though in the molding process we refuse to yield and only and only then after he tries to reshape it is it disregarded ,

we are likened unto clay but we unlike the clay can choose to allow him to mold us or to refuse to be molded , it is how i see mankind and even myself ,, ,

Update 2:

well put agnes and I have not sen that scripture you used in the old testament times in a long time exellent illustration thanks for your illustration it not often seen like that , WELL DONE.

Jehovah as Creator is Owner and Master. He is God by reason of his creator ship; it is his right to receive exclusive devotion from his created subjects, and they must do his will. The right-minded person, on learning about Jehovah and appreciating his relationship with God, will voluntarily render exclusive devotion from the heart, which is what Jehovah desires. Mere formal devotion or worship he hates. (Mt 15:8, 9) This relationship and the freewill devotion that Jehovah desires were illustrated in the Mosaic Law. A Hebrew slave was let go free in his seventh year of service. “But if the slave should insistently say, ‘I really love my master, my wife and my sons; I do not want to go out as one set free,’ then his master must bring him near to the true God and must bring him up against the door or the doorpost; and his master must pierce his ear through with an awl, and he must be his slave to time indefinite.” (Ex 21:2, 5, 6)

Paul spoke to non-Jews in the Thessalonian congregation about the voluntary shift of devotion made when they became Christians. They ceased being slaves to idols and began “to slave for a living and true God.”—1Th 1:9.

God didn't make us to be robots serving him. He wanted us to turn to him out of love and appreciation for what he has done for us: given us life on a beautiful planet. It is out of this respect and gratitude that we show him the honor and love that we do. He is deserving of it. Certainly no 'god' carved of stone that has done nothing for mankind is deserving of love or devotion?

God is a good Dictator who does all that He wants to do for His good pleasure. All people will and do exalt His person in one way or another. He will either be glorified in the mercy and grace shown to elect sinners, or in His perfect justice and wrath upon those vessels fitted for destruction. God is good and full of compassion and mercy, but His law is inflexible. For this reason, He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to be a substitute for all those who will believe.

Roman 9:21-23 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

    Edit: @ ebby08,

That verse you are quoting is saying that God is not willing that any of His "elect" perish.

    Edit: @ mjbrightergem,

I'm afraid you are incorrect as well as ebby08. Any God that you can "allow" to do something is a God under your authority and thus no God at all. May the Lord Jesus Christ alone be glorified!

If he didn't humans the free will to choose, would people who do not worship God be alive? Wouldn't just kill them off and keep alive those who are worshiping him?

2 Peter 3:9 - "Jehovah is slow respecting his promise...but he is PATIENT with you, because he does not desire ANY to be destroyed, but desires all to attain to repentance."
