POLL: HONESTLY I WAS WONDERING WHY PEOPLE COULD(NOT) WRITE CORRECTLY?

I mean sometimes we use slang or similar stuff, but if you write reel instead of real and stuff like that DOES IT INDICATE you cannot write correctly?

What about proper punctuation? Does that indicate that you don't understand the structure of language? No. It's not that serious if someone is being informal. If it's a serious discussion through email, then I'd expect proper grammar, punctuation etc. If not, then whatever.

I am a visual thinker, got invited by mensa, was allowed to skip classes and have a high IQ. But i can't write at all i am horrible with words and connecting the dots so to speak. I mean i can visualize the route from the Netherlands to Spain in my head my parents drove 13 years ago, but i can't write properly.

we aren't writing an essay so what does it matter? just bc we don't type proper on the internet  doesn't mean we can not write correctly.

You should have written *can't*.  Couldn't implies that they can now. Can't implies that it is on going.
