conect tv to wireless network?

Question

I'm having trouble connecting my tv to my network, I'm putting in the correct pass key but not getting connected. I didn't have any problems before switching to BT but funnily enough the reason for switching to BT was I was having problems connecting to the net with a new laptop which since switching is working great. When I checked which devices were connected to my network the tv is listed which is even more confusing.
