If my turtle eats a moss ball(Cladophora ball,) will it hurt him?

I just found out about moss balls or Cladophora ball,. I really want one for my turtle tank. And i was wonder if he would try to eat it and if he does will it hurt him. If he does destroy it i read they will grow back, so i really don't care if he does, i just want to make sure it wont hurt him if he trys to eat it.

No to the Moss Ball. in case you won't be able to get a fish sitter, i desire to propose a heavy feeding habitual for some days till now you leave. Then the day you leave, a 25% water substitute and yet another heavy dose of nutrition. he would be hungry once you come, yet great for a week.

I, have the same question! I got one for my RES (red eared slider), and so far he hasn't eaten it, but I don't think it would hurt him if he ate some. But if he ate the entire thing, or at least a lot of it, that might be a problem.
