Why are Muslims so against the West when their house is full of Western culture /products?

We hate social and cultural shameful values of the west, and the things you have listed, West stolen the basic knowledge of these inventions from Muslims.

I don't think the word "..so against the West.." is appropriate enough. Some westerners are good people. They have high knowledge and skills that some Muslims should learn from them. Not all are bad. Many Muslims travel to the west for those things. I am not against anyone. Just see things beneficial.

if there is any haram thing in the fridge so it must be cleaned but if you mean of english food like burgers , pizza etc. So all these things are being made for humans. If you mean so that nothing but lack of knowledge.

If there is any unislamic things in cupboard. So it must be cleaned

If there is any type of clothing which doesnt covers from navel to knee for man , than it is haram and it must be cleaned and things like cross and any other non Muslim identities is haram for Muslims. For women cloth should not be transparent , tight and it should cover whole body and infront of non mahram , she must cover her clothes with an another cloth over it and her hairs should be covered. Covering face is not compulsory but someone do , so it is good.

wearing make up in public or in front of non mahram is haram.

No using western gadgets is not haram.

What happens when your countries are exploited by the west? the introduction of western EVERYTHING. complete with kettles and fridge magnets.

Can we really avoid it? can anyone REALLY avoid western products and the culture that rubbs off onto us when our countries were invaded?

p.s. there is nothing wrong with using your products, we just dont want western governments and religions.

We can use as many western things as we like so long as they do not breach our faith and trust in god and go against the morals and beliefs in islam.

Who says Muslims are ''so against the West''? rather stereotypical don't you think? How do you know what my house if full of? My culture is ''western'' I cannot change that and I do not want to change that. I love my culture, my country and my people, it does not take away from me loving being a Muslim, loving my Ummah and loving Islam and God.

I love being Scottish, I love my heritage and my ancestry there is nothing in Islam that states I have to be ashamed or reject where I am from. Islam is for all people in all times, Muslims are Westerners, Northerners, Southerners and Eastern too.

We are from all corners of the Globe and Allah made us that way...

Islam is not against western cultures or any other cultures .. but Islam is against getting affected by those cultures in a negative way and forgetting about the native cultures and the Islamic cultures .

Islam is a rational system which not only allows questions but raises knowledge to a new level of dignity and respect. No other religion has exalted knowledge and its pursuit, as has Islam. In fact, for the first time in human history, a religious book invited people to question the creation of the universe and stated that in it (the universe) were signs for people of understanding. ‘In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, there are Signs for people of intelligence.’(The Final Testament,i.e.Quran,3:190-191) “He directs the whole affair. He makes the Signs clear so that hopefully you will be certain about the meeting with your Lord.”(13: 2)

It is impossible for this information to have been known with the level of knowledge and technology available in 7th century Arabia. With this in mind, may we allow our common sense to speak on behalf of us awhile?

Could anyone in 7th century Arabia have known that the word "Pharaoh" was only used from the 14th century B.C. and not before, as the Old Testament erroneously claims?

Could anyone in 7th century Arabia have known that the universe is "steadily expanding," as the Qur'an puts it, when modern scientists have only in recent decades put forward the idea of the "Big Bang"?

Could anyone in 7th century Arabia have known about the fact that each individual's fingertips are absolutely unique, when we have only discovered this fact recently, using modern technology and modern scientific equipment?

Could anyone in 7th century Arabia have known about black holes, Pulsars, the Rosette Nebula, sub-atomic particles, quantum physics, fossilization and iron content, the layers of Earth, the weight of clouds, the relativity of Time, the Force of Gravity, the Orbital Movements, the sun’s trajectory, the programming in genes, the sun’s hydrogen and helium content, or many other facts scientists of our day are only just beginning to discover?

In one verse, Allah says, "If it had been from other than Allah, they would have found many inconsistencies in it."
