School projects like what? Netbooks are underpowered and you won't be running any CPU intensive programs like Adobe Photoshop. The main use of Netbooks is to be on the internet. If you're going to do any kind of multi-tasking you're going to need a real laptop. On top of that the screen size is horrible on most.
