Help with Wireless Adapter?
Can anyone help me? I have a Belkin USB Wireless Adaptor, F7D1101ED Basic- running on a Windows XP machine- I have Sky Broadband and the encription is via WPA2. The network key is correct, but the connection is intermitent. The adaptor finds the network and connects, but it will disconnect quickly, and then reconnect and disconnect a few times before giving up completely.
Interestingly, there is an unsecured network within range which the adaptor connects to, albeit not always at the first time of asking- I removed all the security from my own network to see if this made a difference- it made no difference.
The router is a Sagem model, if this makes a difference.
I don't think changing the channel will make a lot of difference. I had a similar set up before with an older USB adapter and it worked.
