Your question is a little open ended, however, with the remaining three plots you could plant bio fuel crops in order to have sustainable income whilst not damaging the environment, you could promote ecosystems by actively managing another plot, say routine mowing to encourage meadow land again increasing biodiversity on the site. With the remaining plot, well its up to you, graze livestock, build property, or allow nature to reclaim to generate scrub. Your choices are endless

Plant a part of it in pecan or walnut trees. take care of them and keep lower branches cut off. After 20 years sell the trees to a venier wood company. Replant and live on proceds of the sale. It is harvested every 20 years. and the trees can be gotten cheep from the County Extension office in the spring. Like .27 a tree

Well, depends on lots of things. If it is wooded, then you could look into timber management. Wayerhauser is a good company for that. They will manage your timber and thin when needed. Is good for making money, but this would be a long term investment. If it is not wooded, then you could look at leasing it out for farming. I would not recommend leasing out for hunting since it is in close prox to a school. Safety first! A farm for bio fuels would be a great investment. Now if it was mine, and it was wooded, I would start a firewood selling business. Harvest the trees and process them into firewood, and sell it. Can make a lot of money. And its selected cut timber so it gives the small trees a chance to grow... but that's just me.

Go green w/the whole darn thing darlin'! Never allow building sites on it so no division needed. No farming and raping the soil and wearing it out either. Plan a beautiful "green" acreage w/the whole darn plot. Have it plowed/sown w/wild flowers and grasses and bring in the wild life for it (for starters) like pheasants & such. It'll be a perfect haven for these animals/fowl. It can be tax deductible too! :-) Good luck w/your "project" - sounds fun.

Landscape parts of the plot for public use. You could also plant self-sustaining crops on a portion of your open land. Leaving a section open for a public co-operative would also be an option.

Build a private amphitheater and host an annual festival to promote preservation of nature. That would make you my hero, sir.

Arable farm, or deer park, maybe turn it all over into food production, something with a high market value like Chinese greens.

I would make a sportsplex. Somewhere that has a hockey rink, tennis court, baseball field, basketball court, gym, pool, golf coarse, anything that has to do with sports. It would DEFINETLY make ALOT of money
