what can me and my ex do in this situation?

ok so me and my ex broke up last year and are anniversary was on christmas but we broke up because there was a lot of drama in our relationship and we both couldn't take it but here is the thing we both still love each other very much and we wont to get back together but if we do that it would be like a big slap to face to my family and her grandma and mother because my family doesn't like her all like that and her grandma and mother hates me now because of the whole break up situation

we both are 17 years old and if it wasn't because of drama we would of still be together for another year but the drama wouldn't let it happen and to top it all of my other ex started most of the drama with made my family get into it...so basically what im asking you guys is what do you guys think we should do in this situation
