I've been to a few inside people's houses or apartments, nothing memorable though.

I'm not sure who's bigger, Lightning Bolt or The Evens.  Both were great shows that I saw there though.

i've been to a couple. just local bands though. not that there is anything wrong with local bands, its just that you asked who the biggest band i've seen that way is. i've never put one on...unless hosting a jam session where there are people there just listening and not playing counts (it doesnt.) i like the intimacy of it. i've seen it done really well with small ensemble acoustic sorts of acts, but i've also seen one with a 12 piece band that was out of this world.

Yeah, I used to go to a bunch of them a few years ago. I haven't been to one in a long time though, they were deathcore bands like The Irish Front, Knights of the Abyss, Job For A Cowboy, back when they were still a local band here in Arizona. They all became pretty successful and moved on to west coast tours and now their doing country wide tours. I like them because I can make myself at home ;)
