What colors can I use to brighten up my depressing bedroom?
When I moved back to my old house, we painted my bedroom walls dark dark purple and my furniture is black. I love bright colors and dark colors but I'm not sure what kind of things would work in my room. Any ideas?
Some one told me to use bright orange.
But I was sort of thinking about getting zebra print curtains?
I love zebra!
Would it look ok in my room?

what if you use light purple with Gray it would look awesome with your Zebra print :) or you can make you bedroom all White and have Hot pink or Purple accessory's & add the zebra print.

zebra sounds good, maybe even zebra bedding
as for walls, light blue, white, or beige that way the zebra print can pop out, and add the wall colour in there, with maybe a pink or red accent, or even some black. i would also suggest some white furniture.
but no orange walls, it will look tacky, if you want maybe like orange accent pillows that might work and look good.

HI! Here's a suggestion, do an accent wall an orange you like, the rest of your wall should go neutral. I have a feel a you get older you might get tired of all those bright colors. With neutral colors your able to change it up more.

i like the combination of beige (NO not grandmas beige- theres some really warm ones now) with black, white, and splash of red.
beige walls, zebra curtains, 3 or 4 pops of red in small accessories placed around the room to make the eyes move

i'm greatly surprised that maximum of individuals have reported colorings without psychological help for them. for sure, gentle colorings make rooms look bigger, yet it rather is probable no longer what you elect to choose for. the factor with having a yellow or orange room is that on an identical time as that's helpfully lively, overstimulation can bring about paranoia. an identical with blue being calm, in basic terms overstimulation would reason truly depressed moods. besides... which could no longer be my factor! i think of that's as much as the youngster how they elect it, yet i'd placed my foot down if i became into made to purchase fixtures (excl. mattress perhaps) that i know he does not handle to adulthood. probable as a results of fact that's a waste of money truly. comprehensible for toddlers, no longer plenty for youths. My brother is 17, and his room became into gentle blue with military bedsheets. a blue and beechwood dresser and table for his workstation (substantial to youngsters at the instant. ;D) and sufficient cabinet area for his PS2 stuff, college stuff, and the different crap he has. I cherished the assumption of the chrome and glass stuff. Very contemporary yet applicable for adults too. i think of ultimately, youngsters elect to experience like adults. (that's why I hated the activities or wallpaper prints thought.) solid success in looking your answer, and adorning the room! :)

I would think white or metallics (silver or gold) would be pretty. If you are looking for actual colors I think reds and pinks or bright blues would brighten your room quite nicely.

If you want a bright color make sure you only use it in accents, no neon bedspreads or carpet (haha). Lime green, maybe? I've always loved green and purple together.
