How can I make my place look more used?
My parents called they would come over from Tampa to see me. The point is I told them I was living with someone. The truth is I can't. I can't stand any mess around me and everything must have its place. My parents know that. They will know I've lying to them. What can I do to make them believe there's another person under my roof? How can I create some acceptable disorder?

I will assume that you have a second bedroom ..... mess it up and shut the door and walk away, forget about it while your parents are there.
Or tell your parents that your housemate is as much of a tidy person as you are.

I had a room in a neat-freak's flat , and there would be no sign outside my room of any other person's stuff in it, I got used to cleaning up to her standard, its courtesy not to annoy a person you live with.Especially if their parents were coming, there would of course be no mess.But how are you going to explain the lack of clothes in their room? lock the door?Seems crazy to be so scared of the simple truth, why does it matter if you live alone anyway.Shows you are independnt $ successfull !
