orthopaedic pillows - which type?
I've had neck pain and headaches for a while and I suspect that this is down to my pillow. I'm looking at getting an orthopaedic pillow but there are so many types: V-shaped, foam, butterfly....
Can anyone offer any advice on what type to get?
Thanks

This is very difficult to answer as it depends what is causing your neck pain and headaches. I suggest that you read the labels on the pillow packaging and see if any appear to be close to your symptoms, then hopefully the one you choose will help.
You should also consider seeing a doctor as there may be something more than just the wrong pillow affecting your health.
Good luck.

The most important thing in a neck pillow is the neck roll. This helps to restore the neck curvature. The cervical traction pillow has a "V" but also has the neck roll. Most people who like foam are used to something more firm as these pillows feel harder. U-shaped pillows are usually for travel.
Most commonly people get a fiber filled pillow with a medium firmness. The traction pillow is a good example.
