For Verizon members..?

Even though I bought my phone from Best Buy and my parents signed me under their Verizon plan, do I still have the 2 year contract of getting a new phone? I've had my phone for a year now but I'm just wondering..

    yesss, you would have a 2 year plan unless your parents got a 1 year contract (its more expensive that way though)

    I always thought ir you purchased the phone and not use their discount offer that you didn't have a contract.
