Can anyone name this book?
It's frustrating - this has been driving me crazy for months now.
I don't remember the name or author of the book. I just know it was for kids/teens.
A group of kids get sent back in time (I think)... One of them gets marked by Satan. And to leave they had to connect zinc to a car battery.
I sound like an idiot, don't I? D:
And one said "I need zinc. Does anyone have a penny?" and the marked one said "Don't be stupid, everyone knows pennies are made of copper."
So the nerd (Because I'm certain he was a nerdy kid...) said, "Actually, pennies have a copper coating. They're made of zinc," and scraped off the copper coating to get them back home.
I may have paraphrased those quotes. D:
And I highly doubt anyone will actually know what I'm talking about. ._.
I forgot to mention - the above was not the point of the book. That's just the random, almost completely irrelevant bit of information I could pull out of my head. It's been a long time since I've read that book.
