How would you feel so close to Christmas?

Ugh. I hate that tragedies happen period but when they happen during the holiday season it's just awful.

Locally, a 39 year old woman was out at a pub the other night having a good time near the rooftop bar. She fell to her death over the guard rail. She left behind an 8 year old and a 10 year old. She was a single mom. Those kids had to wake up and find out their mother was never coming home so close to Christmas. The gifts she bought for them are under the tree and she won't get the opportunity to see their faces light up. Makes me so sad.

i'm not a parent but my mom has faught cancer for the last 3.5 years, and she has had many health promblems because of it she has had seizures, strokes ect because of her cancer. every once in a while (six months) she has to go get a mri to make sure the cancer hasn't come back any ways last weeks she had a mri. and she was diagnosed with Parkinson disease so sad.... so every year i hope just one more year, and then yeaserday i wasn't schudule to work but i had to work because one of my coworkers had to go to a funeral it's SO sad when people die BUT even sader when it's around the hollidays.

Its horrible. I just found out today that a friend of mine has to go in to a hospital to be induced to deliver her stillborn baby tomorrow morning.. it just sucks and it makes me wanna hug my kids little tighter at night.. just because we made it thru one more day..
