Which documents does an underage person from Germany need to travel to Canada?
My 16 years old daughter is going to travel to Canada by herself.
Except a passport, which documents does she need?
I heard that we also need a copy of the birth certificate and a consent letter from the legal guardian.
Is there anything else?

A birth certificate should not be necessary as long as she holds a valid passport that runs for at least the following six months. A notarized (sworn and stamped) document of consent to travel by both parents is needed, or in case of sole guardianship, a notarized copy of the custody agreement.

No, but the letter of permission from her parents or guardians (and it has to be BOTH parents if they are the signators) must be notarized.
