What is the best wrestling videogame and why?
I mean, some people like No Mercy, some people like SVR06, some people like HCTP/SYM, and others like Fire Pro Returns.
Personally, I think they all have their pros, but really, I'd group them all together in a top tier, I can't pick in between them. My top three, in no order, would be No Mercy, HCTP, and Fire Pro Returns.

WWF No mercy for a number of reasons.
The game play was without a doubt the best we have ever seen in a wrestling game. It also had probably the best CAW mode in a wrestling game ever. The main point however was the No mercy Story mode. By far better than any other similar mode in any wrestling game. The face that it could alter the story depending on whether you won or lost and that for you to complete it fully you had to lose a few matches so you could follow evey single path there was made it brilliant. It took time and dedication to finish that story mode. And i still believe it was the best wrestling game for multiplayer experience.

HCTP because it delivered everything you could ask for. It's probably the best wrestling game you'll ever play, next to No Mercy.

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. Stupidly massive roster stacked with great international talent. I love the gameplay, the options, control, and the CAW is incredible system. You will never find a CAW as extensive as FPWR.

I like Fire Pro for what it is, but I wouldn't consider it a technical marvel, nor would I give it praise for control configuration. Then agian, I'm the type to put EWR at the top of my list, so who am I to talk?

Pro Wrestling for the NES was the best for me.It had the most outrageous characters in a wrestling game I ever seen.

no mercy-amazing greaphic and story also had a really good Caw mode
SVr06 best story out of all svr game after this they went downhill
