How much do bottles of spirits cost in New Zealand?
Just wondering what the approx costs of bottles of spirits in NZ are??
Was just watching "Go Girls" and saw a bottle of Gin (white label) - maybe 1 litre or 1125ml and got me thinking what the cost would be?

For a bottle of gin, you're looking at about NZ$30 for cheap stuff (eg Gordon's), or $50 for decent stuff (Tanqueray, Bombay Sapphire, etc). These estimates are for 1 litre bottles.
Other spirits vary in price significantly ($20-$2,000!!).

Bottle of water is about $3. At least. Some are $2 if you're lucky. They're so expensive. It shits me. You'd be better off buying one bottle of water and just filling it up at taps. Water is safe to drink here. A shirt would cost anywhere between $10-$150. Depending what you're looking for. Lollies, as we call them, range from about 50c to $5. Most is around $2.
