Can a human use flea shampoo?
Had a client come in today and ask to buy some flea shampoo, not for her pet but for herself, because she said she had fleas and needed to kill them, this is the second person we've had ask this question, so I was wondering how would you have responded to that? I'm not telling what we said cause then I'll get answers agreeing with me but is there something I should be telling these women that I just don't know? BTW the shampoo in question is Virbac Ecto-Soothe.

um we can....but humans don't get fleas....we get lice....
Flea's they will bite humans but they wont live on us, they aren't built to survive on people, they are built to survive on dogs, cats etc. You should tell them to try a lice shampoo first since it probably isn't flea's and if it is flea's that they should treat their pet and their house and it should get rid of them.
