Well yes of course it's off of wwe. When a wrestler quits or is released and it's on good terms wwe adds the wrestler to the alumni section and removes them from the roster. Jericho is not in either but Jericho isnt done. He is just taking time off to do his band stuff and other entertainment things for only a couple of months. Apparently from what I beard is that Jericho and wwe came to terms on Jericho staying with wwe and allowing him to do other things while still with wwe which ties in with better schedule where he can take time off whenever which was be deal Jericho wanted before but wwe did t wanna give him which intended rumors of him leaving wwe for good which he stated was false and that he loves wwe and is very loyal to it and will never work for another wrestling company
