How long to let a realtor look for a house for me?
I'm a first time home buyer and new to realtors, so I don't know if my realtor is slow or if I'm just being impatient. So my question is: How long should it take from the time I describe to my realtor what I want in a house before the realtor starts showing me houses.
(By the way, I do know there are houses in my price range with features I described to her in my area, because I took an hour searching online and found over 30 potential candidates.)
Please answer only the question that I asked, I have already received lots of real estate tips.

Your realtor should start sending you listings online and let you look at the homes to see if it is a house you are interested in and want to go see. I would say no more then a week before you receive online listings and then be available to show you the home you are interested in. I would look for another realtor. Best Wishes and Happy house Hunting.

I would not show you anything until you had provided me with a pre-qualification letter or I received a call from your lender that you are a serious buyer. Too many Realtors waste time with people who want to buy, but are not in a position to buy. Or show houses that are in the wrong price range.
But if you are a qualified buyer and have been waiting for more than a couple days to look at houses, you may be working with someone too busy to take you out looking.

Once your Realtor has your criteria, you should receive listings within a day or two. If it's taking your Realtor longer, you might want to change Realtors.

Call your realtor and ask why you haven't heard from her. Tell her what your expectations are and ask if she can meet them. If she can't, then find a new agent.
30 days is FAR too long to have not heard from her. To me, this is her telling you that she doesn't want your business, but the proper thing to do is to contact her and find out what the problem is. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding.

I consider Toni yet i could upload which you would be able to desire to easily get on your automobile andpersistent with the aid of those that interest you....you don't get the completed image once you look at homes on line and each so often one that seems reliable on the cyber web internet site would be in a foul region or falling aside once you spot it in individual. this sort you will make extra effective use of a few time with your realtor.
