Staying awake for 36 Hours?

Hi

Here is my situation, on Monday i start a new JOB, and i didn't have one for the past Year so i didn't really live like other People. I go to bed on 6 in the Morning and wake up somewhere in the Day, sometimes it was different but now the thing is for the job i gotta wake up on 6 Am therefore i want to go to bed at 10Pm so that i am well rested. And Today i tried it and it was impossible, i just rolled around 2 Hours in the bed trying to go to sleep. With Music, without Music and i tried it all, so i came to the Idea not to go to sleep until Tomorow on 10 Pm which would make me stay awake for over 36 Hours, but would that help me get back in my old sleep rhytm? I probably will sleep an Hour more or something but still, will this help?

Thank you, i would have done that but i just found out Today, its kinda fast but what am i suppose to do? Say No?

    Its possible that will help you. It might have been easier though if you had started going to bed at 10pm at an earlier date. Like perhaps as soon as you found out you had gotten the job. The reason I say this is because then it would have gotten your brain and body in the habit of going to sleep at a earlier time then 6am.

    You can try this but on the weekends and the next time you have to switch what time you go to bed I would suggest this. Also if at first you go to bed at an earlier time at first, say 9, or 9:30pm, that might help too.
