Is it fair to criticize in this situation?
A friend of mine had a group project at school. The group discussed what they were going to do, and then my friend started building the basic pieces over the weekend. They brought it to school, and then everyone had plenty of work to do for the rest of the project. The teacher commented and said, "This is supposed to be a group project". My friend was just trying to help, because the people in her group never do any work! Is it fair for the teacher to criticize her?

I'd suggest that your friend talk with the teacher, saying something like, "I've been wondering if I did something wrong by doing part of the project at home over the weekend." It could be that the teacher was being critical of the others in the group for not having done anything, or maybe the teacher doesn't realize that the others haven't done much in the past. If your friend says something like that, it should start a conversation.
