I just bought a linksys E2000 router. I have laptop that i like to connect to it by Wi fi but its a B/G?
Would I be able to connect to it with no problem since the e2000 uses an N band?
One more thing...Would I need to have the router set up to 2.4 ghz or 5.0 ghz

Yes. Even though the router is N, it's what they call backwards compatible so it will handle "lesser" connection speeds of B, G & G+. Just that N is as high as it can go.
