Does a radio clock (an off air clock)show,which is being bought in German,always the "German time"?

I want to give my daughter in Glasgow a radio clock,which I have bought in Germany.Which time does it show?Always the "German time"?Is a chance to change the time?

    It will show the time for what Time Zone it is set to. It could defualt to German time.

    A good radio-set clock will have a number if time zones to choose from.

    The transmitter actually sends UTC time, and the clock figures local time based on the set TZ offest.

    The UK and Germany have the same time (GMT)... no need to worry
