I've got a brown thumb, but I would like to grow these as they are one of my two fav. flowers. How difficult are they to grow?

Oriental lilies are easy to grow. They like full sun or partial shade. They PREFER acid soil(mix in some coffee grounds) but aren't that choosy about it. They like their roots to be cool and moist so put mulch around them. After they die down mulch them again to protect them from the winter cold. They can grow quite tall(some can reach 6 feet) so you may have to stake them. When the flowers die cut them off. BTW, the one in the link is just about the most fragrant flower of all.

Thrive on neglect, don't need to be dug up depending on your hardiness zone, full sun, summer bloomer. Only bad thing about bulbs is they bloom only once per season.
