What is the technical term for not being able to distinguish one voice in many? see details?
For example you are in a noisy restaurant and you can not tell what the person across the table is saying, even though you are trying to listen to just that person. It is not tone deafness, I can distinguish different tones (I can clearly tell the difference between B flat and C sharp). I just cant distinguish one person's voice when there are many similar voices.

For the want of a better term it can be called loss of focus. It is included in hearing loss only (sensoryneural hearing loss), though otherwise the hearing will be normal.
