What is the best eyeshadow color for brown eyes?

Greens, purples, browns and golds :-)

I'm 15 and have some experience (not that I obsess but I have an "artistic eye").

I have brown eyes, but they are slightly light brown so I use black.

The great thing about brown is that it doesn't really look wrong with any other color.

Light brown:

Despite what people say, don't use light color because it doesn't look good when you wear more than a little. Where dark colors to enhance the brightness. Gold works (not too much)

Brown:

Go for a little black or brown. Gold works (not too much).

Dark brown:

Again, not too much light colors. Go for lining the eyes with black and then "dust" them slightly with light colour.

Remember! EVERYTHING has to go with the make-up for a good look.

I have dark brown eyes and love to use shades of purple. It really makes them stand out more then just the standard brown neutrals.

Golds, purples, pinks, greens, and some blues. Brown eyes are definitely the most versatile when it comes to colors of eye shadows. Avoid black at all costs.

I recommend getting a NYC or Almay eyeshadow palette for brown eyes. Both companies make palettes for each eye color. They're very inexpensive and found most anywhere. They have several different colors in each palette and are great quality. Hope this helps!

I think brown/dark brown eyes have the most versatility when it comes to eye shadow. What really stands out though are nice shades of purple (soft lilacs or deep plums), emerald green, light pink, bronze/brown shades, deep blues...

What I use is a dark brown.... and a black liquid eye liner. It makes my dark brown eyes look super dark and dynamic. I love it!(:
