But I also won't sacrifice my entire Country to Madison Avenue billionaires (again) with the false promise that they will somehow look after us all, decide what's right for us, and let us have some of the crumbs that fall from their table.

It's impossible to sacrifice essential liberty and have any kind of peace or security. A nation that isn't free isn't at peace or secure. Peace and security have always been temporary for the 234 years we've been a nation and yet we've always had the one thing the rest of the world envies, liberty. You do know that if you insult people who don't agree with you you are jack*** right?

Do a little research about what steps were taken during WW2 in the effort to keep our country safe. After that ask yourself if those steps were necessary at the time.

In my city of New York there are some neighborhoods so crime infested

that you would be a jack*** if you went out in the middle of the night.
