hey i have been lookng for a canon camra one that is high tech and low price lol?

i had used Canon PowerShot A3100IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera which is really good . nd i m happy with it.

If I may comment on "CT's" answer, I would choose the Canon camera with the 4x optical zoom. Most people become disenchanted with a 3x optical zoom almost immediately. In fact to add my two cents I would look at the Fuji brand also, They really stand behind their product. I have personal experience with Fuji in this area. You might find that Fuji offers more camera for the buck as compared to Canon.

If I had choice I would opt for a 5x optical zoom. You might visit the places near you that sell these cameras and get the "feel" of them. I know of several cameras, which although are high quality, I don't like the feel or handling of the camera. Cameras are a very personal thing! And please don't forget to buy a nice neck strap and use it. At least two people a day drop their cameras, only to hear the sad news, that the camera is now useless.

What is your price range? If you want an SLR, go for the T2i.... if you want a point and shoot, go for the S90

There really is no such thing. Buy cheap and you'll get cheap. If you want quality it's going to cost you.
