Is it safe to take presciption pain medication after taking over the counter cold/allergy medication?
I came down with a mild cold/fever over the weekend and i'm also recovering from a shot i took in the bottom of my foot, so after taking some pills(standard OTC night time pills) for my cold, i was wondering if it was safe to take my medication because i'm also incredibly sore! If not is OTC(advil, tylenol) safe?
The cold medicine adds up to 650mg of acetaphenomine(?) so i decided to just go with one tylenol which is 500 mg, and i'm guessing that should do the trick. Sorry if i don't pick you as best answer, i'm lazy, you'll get it automatically in a couple of days lol.

check with your doctor!!! geez why does no one want to ask doctors about theses important medical questions also call the number on the back of the cold medicine bottle to check adverse affects of mixing the two or ask ur pharmacist these things can have serious affect that we do not know about such a making your breathing so shallow u stop!
