It wasn't a 'skit/promo' he'd be on the headset feeding lines to the Commentary team (Schiavone, Heenan, etc.)

so technically it was Schiavone who'd give away the taped Raw results

Nitro was exclusively live, but Raw would tape every other week... I believe they gave away the results about half a dozen times

the last one being when Foley won the WWE Title... I believe that that was the last time Nitro won the ratings, but the trending pattern showed that a LOT of people changed the channel to see him win... and went back to Nitro for the over run

I suppose it didn't help the overall effect, that WCWs main event that night was the "finger poke of doom"
