I need some advice concerning my racist dad...?
My dad has this strong hatred of me tlking to black guys. I can jsut be saying "oh whats up" or something and he runs to my mom (who doesnt care) and trys to get me in trouble. When i went out with a mixed guy he called me a slut just for that reason. He doesnt even tell me he loves me all he seems to try to do lately is get in my business. I told him if he cant even act like he cares to jsut stay out of my life. What do you think i could do to help him understand more. (im white btw if tht matters o.O)

Unless you wanna deal with his bulls*it all your life, i think you should slowly cut him out of your life! I don't understand why you haven't!!! he calls you a slut and doesn't show he loves you! there's no way to change his minds about racism, most white older men are dead set on their ignorant ways

there is no way for you to change your dads mind it sucks but if he is calling you a slut for no reason and doesnt show he loves you then he is not acting like a father and doesnt deserve to be treated as one im sorry this is happening i hope things get better for you

i do no longer think of there is any "borderline" to it. you're being generous. As for why, i'm no longer qualified to assert, yet needless to say there is a few capability around his racial identity it is carrying over to the techniques you're making. stable luck!
