Product for learning colloquial European Spanish?
Does anybody know a good product for learning colloquial European Spanish? It would help if it is faster paced since I already speak French and can understand basic Spanish quite easily.
Colloquial because my first goal is to be able to understand a Spanish TV show where most of the characters are teenagers and the English approximations in the subtitles show a lot of colloquialisms when they speak. I noticed that Pimsleur, for example, besides teaching American Spanish (Which I'm not interested in yet) also teaches very formal speech. I am also currently trilingual and starting studies in Cognitive Science and Linguistics in September; so excited!

Colloquial?
If by colloquial, you mean "street dialect" or "slang", you can find slang Spanish dictionaries online for free-- I wouldn't spend money on a program that is specifically designed to teach me colloquialisms.
If you simply want to learn the Spanish language, and afterward alter it with colloquialisms at your own will, it seems like a good idea to invest in Rosetta Stone or another commercial language mastering product.
I hope I understood your question correctly.
EDIT:
I see. I feel like your best bet would be to learn correct Spanish primarily. Because you'll have to watch TV shows, listen to music in Spanish, and carry out conversations with others to achieve fluency, the modern colloquialisms of the different Spanish dialects will automatically be integrated into your vocabulary from there. But don't focus on learning colloquial Spanish; take a more formal approach, and the rest will come to you through practice.

The problem with Spanish TV is that is very regionalized so there will be slight differences in pronunciation and the type of local dialect used.
Your best option I feel would be to look at an online course that targets conversational Spanish rather than worrying too much about the grammatical issues involved.
A good site to hear and study european Spanish for free as it also provides a few video courses to follow is http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/spanish/
Otherwise, check out the online courses covered by the sources link below, although one of them is purely for latin Spanish.
