Why should I use ie8?

I agree. Google Chrome is much faster and less people use it, which makes you feel special and indie.

Get Chrome or Firefox, they're both similar.

These browsers are up to date with the web standards and are a lot faster and more secure than IE8.

Internet Explorer is a pain to support if you're a web developer like me as they all seem to render pages incorrectly in some way or another, so it's a pain trying to make your website look right on them.

Even if you dont use IE8 and you choose to use Firefox, Chrome, Safari or some other browser, you should still download and install it as an update.

Internet explorer is core component of the Windows operating system. Because of this if you leave the old IE7 or god forbid IE6 on your computer then you may be leaving your computer open to viruses or hacking.

So install it and if you dont want to use it choose another browser. Personall I prefer Chrome as it is faster than IE

There shouldn't be any reason why you should use ie8, unless of course your using it to download Mozilla Firefox!
